A Little Backstory:
When I was in the second grade my mom told my teacher that we were going to write a book together over the summer. The whole summer was filled with talking about plot lines for mysteries, but my 8-year-old mind didn’t really understand what went into writing a book or why my Mom had wanted to undertake the project. In any case, it never happened, but the thought that I could offer the world a book has stuck with me.
Fast forward 40 years and I was assigned a final project for a Positive Psychology Program. My final project was to create a proposal for how I was going to share 9-months of intensive study with the world. Over the course of several weeks, I journaled in search of my answer. One day, I looked down and saw that I was holding my inspiration. The Flourishing Journal was born.
