Hello! My name is Pari Smart, and I am so glad you stopped by my website.

I created Smart Possibilities because I want to help you lead the life you want to live unencumbered by negativity, self-defeating thoughts, and burnout. I connect people to the tools they need to be a little bit more successful every day, a little bit happier every day, and a little bit more satisfied with the quality of their life everyday.
I have been a coach and trainer for more than 20 years and work with individuals from all walks of life. I individualize my approach based on your needs, pulling from a combination of neuroscience, positive psychology, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, wellness, and proven leadership practices, to create a coaching experience that meets you were ever you are.
Originally from Omaha, NE, I now live in Dallas, TX, but with the help of technology, I work with clients all over the world. I have even been known to jump on a Zoom call at 11 p.m. to accommodate clients “Down Under.” If you are ready to learn something different so you can do something different, I hope you’ll reach out. I am ready to help you discover your possibilities.

Our Principles
MINDSET
We understand that skills and strategies are only as effective as the mindset that drives them. That's why mindset is a core tenet of our coaching and training approach. We help our clients identify and challenge limiting beliefs, cultivate a positive and proactive mindset, and develop the mental resilience needed to achieve their goals.
MOVEMENT
Research demonstrates that the mind and body are intrinsically linked. That’s why we leverage this connection by incorporating movement into our coaching and training programs. By engaging the body, we enhance mental clarity, reduce stress, improve concentration, and create a more holistic and transformative learning experience.
MEDITATION
Meditation is more than just relaxation; it's a powerful tool for personal and professional development. Many of our training and coaching programs use a variety of practices including mindfulness meditation to cultivate present moment awareness, breathwork to regulate the nervous system, and progressive muscle relaxation to reduce stress and anxiety. These techniques empower our clients to manage stress, enhance focus, and develop greater self-awareness.

Using Positive Psychology
The science of human flourishing
Positive psychology shifts the focus from fixing problems to emphasizing strengths, leveraging what is right with people, not just fixing what is wrong. Twenty-five years ago, positive psychology began to fill that gap by offering science-based interventions to help everyone increase their wellbeing and happiness.
But keep in mind, positive psychology is about a lot more than just “being happy.” Positive psychology focuses on
- Increasing positive emotions to build your resilience,
- Increasing engagement for better outcomes,
- Strengthening relationships for stronger social ties,
- Discovering your own meaning and purpose,
- Celebrating personal and professional achievements,
- Promoting vitality and individual well-being.
Why the Dragonfly?
Some people are afraid of heights. Some people are afraid of spiders. I, until 12 year ago, had an unexplainable fear of dragonflies.
In 2010 I was going through a painful divorce and took a solo trip to Cambodia to regroup and plan for whatever was “next.” One day, as I was walking through a market, a woman selling decorative plates called me over and told me that she had “just the plate for me.” It was black with a mother-of-pearl dragonfly embedded on it. I assured her that while I would look at her plates, the one she chose was definitely not for me!
I still remember her response clearly in my mind. She replied, “You are mistaken. The dragonfly is the national symbol of Cambodia and just like the people of Cambodia, you are ready to flourish.” I realize that she might have said that line to many people that day, but it resonated with me in a way that was truly life changing. It spoke to me on a personal level and she seemed to articulate the words that I needed to hear.
As I left the market with not one, but three, dragonfly plates under my arm. Those plates are my reminders that I can choose to change, that I can choose to learn, and I can choose to flourish.
It was a surreal day and I immediately started reading everything I could find about dragonflies and the meaning associated with them. I discovered that in almost every part of the world, the dragonfly symbolizes change, transformation, adaptability, and growth.
As I was preparing to open Smart Possibilities, the dragonfly was the obvious symbol to represent the change, transformation, and growth I had experienced and knew that I could help others experience too.
If you, like the dragonfly, are ready to take charge of your own wellbeing and flourish, reach out. I am ready to hold your plate as you begin your journey.
What Our Clients Are Saying
My journey with Pari from the jump was one of synergy, positive energy, and creative possibilities.
She helped me filter out noise and gain clarity every step of the way. Being laid off for the first time and reinventing myself, or rather re-finding myself, with Pari’s help has given me confidence and the ability to trust my own instincts again.
I learned so much about my family
My husband, adult children, and their spouses attended a coaching session with Pari. After 33 years of marriage and raising 3 children we all felt like we knew one another pretty well; however, we learned that there was a deeper level of understanding to explore. I learned so much about how my husband hears my words and interprets my actions and the results shed light on how we can better connect with each other and our family.
Truly Empowering
Working with Pari has been truly empowering. She doesn’t offer up a standard answer, instead, she learns about what YOU need and want from a session and then offers prompting questions to help you develop an action plan and reach your goals.
